Coordinating Council Commission

​The Coordinating Council Commission of Whitewater Valley Presbytery serves as the executive and coordinating body, overseeing the implementation of the Presbytery's vision and coordinating its efforts to fulfill constitutional and communal purposes. The Finance, Mission and Partnership, and Personnel Committees are all standing committee of the Coordinating Council Commission. Task Forces are also formed as needs arise.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee of the Coordinating Council oversees the financial health and stewardship of the Whitewater Valley Presbytery. It is responsible for developing and monitoring the operating and shared mission budgets, ensuring proper accounting practices including regular audits and reviews, reporting to the Presbytery the assets held by the corporation, and providing financial guidance to the Presbytery and its ministries.

Mission and Partnership Committee

The Mission and Partnership Committee of the Coordinating Council fosters relationships and supports congregational ministries on behalf of Whitewater Valley Presbytery. The committee encourages congregational engagement in mission work and helps align resources with opportunities for impactful service and collaboration through grants and recommends budget allocations to Presbytery ministries (i.e. Amistad New Worshipping Community) and independent ministries historically connected to the congregations of Whitewater Valley Presbytery (i.e. Westminster Neighborhood Services).

Personnel Committee

The Personnel Committee provides oversight and support for the staff of the Whitewater Valley Presbytery. It is responsible for developing and reviewing personnel policies, conducting evaluations, and ensuring fair and supportive employment practices.

Reimbursement Forms

Commission and committee members may submit reimbursement forms for mileage and meals incurred during official Presbytery business. Reimbursements are subject to current Presbytery rates and must include appropriate documentation and receipts.
