MITER Brochure

What is MITER?

The MITER initiative is designed to provide presbytery staff support in assisting congregations in solving problems and answering questions regarding technology and communications as cost-effectively as possible.

The Ministry Technology Resources (MITER) initiative is an entirely new concept in Whitewater Valley Presbytery and, as far as is known, in PC(USA).

One of the main goals of this program is to encourage the development of a web presence for our churches currently without one and to help those churches with websites to refine them, if needed, to fit their growing and changing needs.

Many churches may require other technology-related needs in addition to providing web development and design resourcing. To meet these needs, the following list of services, among possible others, are offered:

  • Church staff training
  • Desktop publishing
  • Video Editing and Production
  • Photography
  • Hardware set-up
  • Computer upgrades
  • Basic networking
  • Audio/Visual set up
  • Database development
  • Graphic design
  • Presentation creation
Listed below are some samples of work completed throught the MITER initiative:
