Whitewater Valley Presbytery

Presbyterian Women

United in Prayer

We are called to be in relationship with God through prayer, sharing with God our deepest joys and concerns. We know the power of prayer in our individual lives-- now more than ever we need to unite in prayer--all women--everywhere. Each Wednesday morning, women are encouraged to spend a few moments in prayer. Everyone can participate for we all can pray without regard for age or responsibilities. In this prayer time there is much power when women unite to pray at the same moment for God's call to us and the work of church. This is intentional living. This is being called for a purpose.

This seeking God "for where 2 or more are gathered"--united prayer is gathering. This is 2 Chronicles 7:14. (If my people will humble themselves and pray...I will heal their land.)

Remind each other to pray on Wednesday mornings. Quarterly topics of prayer will be available at Presbytery meetings and will be on the Presbytery web site under those for whom the Presbytery staff is praying.
